In July we upgraded to version 2.8 of Moodle and in so doing gained some features that faculty have wished were available in previous versions. Some of the things that come as part of the upgrade are:
- Text autosave
- Natural weighting
- Improved Quiz edit screen and completion settings
- Improved Grader report
This is just a small portion of the new features we’ve gained in upgrading. For a more detailed list of the new features and some video overviews, you can visit New Features for 2.8. We also added the PoodLL audio assignment and feedback plugin to allow faculty to create assignments that require students to record their responses an for faculty to provide audio feedback on assignments.
